Queue notifications on forumhome
 

I really don't know why VB doesn't include this.

I'd like to see a mod that if any queue has things needed to be moderated, be they posts, threads, or attachments, mods and or admins with the power to moderate get notified on forumhome, the same way they're notified if they have a new private message.

This would make things much easier and more intuitive for moderators.

I could have sworn I saw a few mods to do this, but it would be the navbar (or header) not forumhome- have you tried searching with those terms?

I found one really old mod, nothing for current version of VB.

You're right, it would be navbar.

This would be an incredibly useful feature to have. Right now I'm hesistant to use the mod queues for spam control and whatnot simply because it is easy to forget to check them.

I PMed the author of "QuickModeration" mod for VB 3.5 to see if he'd upgrade (or give me permission to release) a 4.x version of his mod. He's signed in but hasn't responded to me yet. :(
