Where to begin? (learning about vB)
 

I am not a software jockey, but am certainly IT-savvy... I have built my own PCs for years, have set up streaming audio and video in my house, and can usually figure out most software and hardware without too much trouble.

But I am having a hard time getting my head around vB.. are there any introductory texts I should read? A tutorial?

I am trying to follow the posts in this forum, but a lot of it frankly flies over my head.. can someone give me tips/pointers on how to approach this whole thing?? :confused:

I'd start by setting up a test site and trying things out. I think that's how I started. Sure, the manual is fine for some things, but until you just try them out, you don't really get to know it.
