Hello, I'm on the verge of buying a licence but I need just one question answering before I commit to buy...

My forum needs to have a special feature which I haven't seen used on any other forum, I'm wondering if there is a plugin/hack/addon I can use with vbulletin...

I need to lock certain parts of the forum from new users and only open them up once the user has been registered for a certain amount of days, like a timed lock feature.

Is there a plugin/hack/addon which I can use or will I have to pay a coder to create this for me?

No need to have a plugin/hack/addon as the feature is built-in. You may create a Usergroup Promotions that moves the user from the first usergroup that doesn't have much access to a new usergroup after x posts/days. The new usergroup would have more access to the site than the initial usergroup.
