Forum Permission on per user basis
Searching through the forums here looking for a specific type of permission system for my forum. I am looking for a way I can allow a specific user access to a particular forum without doing this on a usergroup basis. I wanted to make it so I as the admin would have to edit that specific user and grant access to the forum. Does a mod like this exist? I see them where its based on post count but not this method.
Thanks in advance. |

I think borbole is talking about "access masks" (although I'm not sure why that wasn't explicitly mentioned). I also don't know the easiest way to get to the right page, but if you search for a user in the admin control panel, in the upper left corner there's a "User Quick Links" drop down menu, and if you select "Edit Forum Permissions (Access Masks)" I think you can control that user's permission to each forum.

Thank you, I will play around with it and see if I can get it to work.
