Leader of the leaderboard question
 

I have been adding, testing and removing all non-scoring games, and everytime I delete a game or add a new game the leader of the leaderboard is reset. Where do I go to fix this issue?

Also, during my testing I became 'King of the Arcade', however even after I deleted all my bogus scores I still show that I have the most highest scores of all time.

Here is my problem. I have the 'lower the arcade scores' installed. If I reset all the scores, it will erase the highest scores of all time. Any way around that?

And how can I add/delete games without messing up the leader of the leaderboard?

I am still looking into it..

one of those links will just reduce scores and one will erase all including high score of all time..

Thanks Hippy, so if I want it to reduce both I should add both cron jobs?

My main issue is the leaderboard. Everytime I add or delete a game it resets the leaderboard. How do I have the arcade recalculate the leaderboard once I add or delete a game?

Okay I used the Score Tools in admincp, hit the "update the best results" button, and yes I had the same issue as the other user. I am still king of the arcade. But to top that off, it did not do what was intended, because all of the best results are exactly as they were before.

if you don't get me .. go into your admincp and under arcade then member manage
Find User Name will be the page at the top put the user name you wish to remove scores
Showing User 1 to 1 of total 1 will be the next page.. click edit scores
click Remove all
if that don't work then you need to go to the bottom and click check all then remove...

do this for all users you need to..

I am just trying to remove my own high scores.... which I did. But I am still the King of the Arcade. If you click on my name, however, there are no scores.

There is nowhere to do maintainence and rebuild scores?

I never had to do this so I am shooting in the dark with ideas..

I will try and see if i can find where it's saved via phpmyadmin..

My site is inaccessible at the moment, but have you tried updating usernames, just to see if that is the issue? Same menu as updating Champs and Scores, etc.

@Digital Jedi yes I tried that.

Here is what I ended up doing, that sort of worked. I downloaded the 'reduce best scores of all time' modification, and set it to reduce scores 100%.

It worked on most scores, however, it still made me have a score of -1 on about 180 games..... then I went to admincp and updated the high scores and it DID update all the current scores. I then disabled the reduce high scores add on.

So now I still have about 180 -1 high scores and I am still king of the arcade.... but it is better than 225+ high scores I had. I told my members to play games that have my -1 high score on them.

I don't know why the update high scores in the arcade admincp does not work. It just did not work at all until I REDUCED the scores, then it worked. I think it has something to do with the fact that they scores were higher, not lower, than the current high score champ.
