is this one out there? on the forumhome it shows the categories with forums underneath, is there a ay to make the board have an expand link which expands to show the forums in that category? what i would like is for it to do that but to show say 3 forums per category, these are random and change when the page is refreshed, except if it has been expanded.

this would be good for boards with 100s of forums!

Thats actually a good idea. I implemented a Sub-forums type thing at http://tony.murmurs.com, which says which subforums are immedietly below that one.

Hmmm...let me think about htis one. I wonder if a popup hierarchial "map" would work, or DHTML expansion, or a form dropdown?
