Moving servers - Can I do this?
 
Hello,
I have a pretty heavely hacked board. I am moving to a new server and wanted to know if I can just download the database, download the file structure then upload the files and database to the new server?

Will this work?

Yes it will work just fine, but you still need to configure the new servers db credentials etc.

By credentials you mean the username and password.

Yes.

Also if it is cpanel --> cpanel you can use their full site backup and just restore it to the other host.
