Hook Location between vB3 and vB4
 

Hi all,

I have a small problem with Sid's Hide Hack Mod, it's for vB 3.x (not for vB 4.x)... I've tried to make it compatible with vB 4 (and I did, it worked), but there's one more bug I can't fix: Hide doesn't work when I did a search, hidden content showed.

Because the coder does not support anymore, so I have to do it myself. I find out that 2 plugins in product, their Hook Location does not exist since vB 4:

search_results_query_threads
search_results_prebits

So if anyone know what Hook Location can replace them, please let me know.

Even if the mod is marked unsupported, all support questions need to be asked in the modification thread, not out in the main forums. That is where any support would be given.

(I would suggest finding the old hooks in the vb3 code and then finding the same code in vb4 and seeing what hook is now available. but, as I said, the main forums is not where to ask modification questions.)

I know the rules, that questions need to be asked in the mod's thread, but I think this question is not only about a specific mod, my question is about the hooks :)

And thank you for your suggestion. Before posting this topic, I've tried to find that hook, or a different hook with the same function... but I found that searching system between vB3 and vB4 is too different... out of my hand.
