Archive (footer) permissions

My problem: I have a few public subforums and a few private subforums only for registered users. But from the archive footer (archive/index.php) nobody can see the private subforums, or even administrator.
Sorry my english. How can I give the permissions?
Thanks in advance...

Zachery 01-03-2011 11:02 PM

The archive permissions are 100% the same as the forum permissions

Danielgsc 01-03-2011 11:32 PM

Then, why can I see a private subforum and If I go by archive footer to a link corresponding to a private subforum I can see only a white page?

Do you have permissions to view that forum?

You are an administrator right? You can see that forum. Logout first.

I'm admin
I can see the private forums (obviously), but
I can't (in fact, nobody in the forum) see those forums if I clic its links by the archive footer. I only can see a white page with the url of those forums in the navigation box of the firefox, explorer or opera...

Sorry the repost...
A friend is admin in another 4.1.0 and he has got the same problem...
May be is a bug in this version????????

Nope, Zach, he is right. It does the same thing on my forums. The private areas do not show up in the archive. I have some staff forums that don't show up there for me as Admin.

Do you mean a totally white, blank page? Here is a page from the manual about troubleshooting blank or 'white' pages: http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/blank_pages

You did not upload the vB files correctly. Reupload the vB non-image files and make sure you upload these in ASCII format and that you overwrite the ones on the server. Make sure you upload the Admin CP files to the admincp directory specified in your config.php file. Then, if you can access the Admin CP, run 'Suspect File Versions' in Diagnostics to make sure you have all the original files for your version:

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions
It's ok

You have extra space or lines in your config.php file. Make sure there is no whitespace or extra lines in config.php either before the <?php or after the ?>.
It's ok

If this is happening on the forum home page only, then you may have an empty index.html or index.htm file in that directory. Delete it.

In several pages. In all private subforums.

You have a bad plugin installed.
I have disabled the plugin system. The problem persists

The servername setting in config.php is wrong.
The name is right.

[For multiple white pages] You have added code to your header, headinclude or phpinclude templates that is no longer functional.
[For white pages in a select area] You have added code to one of your templates that is causing this problem.
Original template from original style. Just, another logo, of course ;)

You have a corrupted template.

Original templates are right.

You have GZIP enabled.
I disabled the GZIP. The problems persists.

12. This can be caused by a bug in PHP 5.2.5

I have PHP 5.1.5

Any idea? Could be a bug?
