Screwed my VB4

Hello all, basically I've got a growing forum, over 10,000 members. The problem I'm having is I've modified it to death over the past 12 to 18 months and it's not running smoothly.

What I need is a second chance, so I can carefully remodify my forum with the essential plugins I need, eliminating invalid tables and files on my Database and FTP .

Basically I wan't to restore my VBulletin 4 forum as if it had never been modified, back when I used VB3 I would have just imported the users, forums, threads, posts and attachments into a new database using Impex, but seen as there is no version of Impex that supports VB4, I'm wondering if theirs another way around this?

I also have a larger VB4 forum that I have acquired that I need to merge into my existing forum.

I've explored the SQL options, but I'm afraid to say SQL is at this moment in time is beyond me (After many hours of reading and searching Google), so I was hoping somebody who is more in the know, would have a solution or alternative to my problem.

The original thread I posted in over at VB.com is here.

And if you would also like to see a version of Impex that supports VB4 to VB4 imports you can vote on Jira here.

The vote option is in the panel on the left of your screen.

Hopefully somebody can help as I've invested quite a bit of money into this venture.

First of all make a thorough backup of your database. Then uninstall all the mods and themes that you have installed. And/or undo any other kind of customasings that you have done. Then run this tool to clean up the db from any extra left over mod tables, fields etc.

Thanks for the advice I'll give it a whirl.

No problem.

Just a quick question about the Compareutility, is it up to date with version VB4.1.0 PL2?

I've just started to remove some tables, but there are some tables I'm a little unsure about removing as they look as though they may be part of the VB structure, such as the Facebook connect system.
