That could cause some problems with your urls. If you had a forum called Forum and the url would be forumdisplay.php?2-Forum and then you change it to Foro and then the url is forumdisplay.php?2-Foro How would you handle that?

Did you try the other hack on your test site and see if it works? Some mods, if they are only php, not template changes, will work just fine on 4.x.

i had tested it on my vb4 but it dosent work :(
have you please an alternative way to translate that forums name's ?

You may be able to write a plugin to change the names, but I do not have any code handy to do that. Perhaps someone else can offer suggestions.

good news man ! i would to thank you
i have also visited your forum and i like the style you use ;)

for the mods i posted a thread in vbseo forums and they tell me that i must use only forums ID's in the url to not crash the SEO building structure:

vbseo has no provisions for multiple languages. Creating more than one url to 1 resource breaks the entire concept of link consensus of which is one of our product's core advantages.

If you are going to use a mod like this, you should be using Id's only in the urls, ie
/f123/ so that the url doesn't change.
