Sending pm if post quoted

How can I send a pm if a users post got quoted?

I would make a plugin on a newreply hook...

Use a regular expression to extract the username from the code:

Code:

[quote=USERNAME;NUMBER]

and, if found send a pm to the user...

I guess I would set it up to handle if multiple people were quoted in the same post.
