Stopping Forum Span
 
Just a question for all you board owners out there. I have the "Stop forum spam" mod that prevents the spammers from registering. But... I notice that there are a lot of spam IPs that are accessing my board and attempting to enter events, etc. I have manually added their IPs to the banned ip list.

So.. my question.. has anyone downloaded the Spam IP list and entered this into the banned IP section? Or is this a waste of time? my concern is that an IP gets rotated and a legit user can't access because their IP used to belong to a spammer.

Thoughts?
