New Post For Homepage

Can you guys advice me on how to add the New Posts tab to the Home Page like it is on the Forum Page.

TIA

AdminCP > vBulletin CMS > Layout Manager > *Select the layout you have set on your CMS*

Now add the widget "Recent Forum Posts" to that layout and save, now clear the CMS cache and refresh your tab/window with the CMS open and see if it's there, should be :D.

Hi Michael

I'll explain this better.

I removed the What's New tab from the main navbar as the New Posts tab was doing the same job. Now I'm getting some members complaining that they have click twice now!! to find the new posts from the Home Page. I have the Recent Post widget but would still like the New Post tab to appear on the Hope Page.
I take it they want the whole list of posts.

If you look here http://www.canon-fodder-forums.com/ I would like the New Posts tab next to CFF News on the sub menu (red bar) if possible.

You mean a link to it not a tab? If yes then edit the templates of your style and find vbcms_navbar_link template, edit it now find this in the template:

Code:

                {vb:raw template_hook.vbcms_navbar_end}
Paste this above:

Code:

<li><a href="search.php?{vb:raw session.sessionurl}do=getdaily&amp;contenttype=vBForum_Post" accesskey="2">{vb:rawphrase getnew_tab}</a></li>
See if that is what you want ;).
