Major problem with cookies
 
Hello vb.org community,

I did change the cookies options to experiment and now Im kicked out of the AdminCP

How can I get access again to the CP?

in the forum is ok, I have changed the option from /forums/ to /

Upload tools.php from your "do_not_upload" folder into your admincp directory. Using your browser, load tools.php and then click on Reset Cookie Path and Reset Cookie Domain. Make sure to delete tools.php from your server.

ok I did this but I still have the same issue. It shows me that is logging in but then takes me back to the logging menu at admincp.

I also noticed that the Reset Cookie Path is set to / and when rest is done, it do to the same cookie path /. It should be /forums/ the cookie path instead of /

any other ideas?

The defaults should allow /forums/ as well. Try clearing out your browser cookies. Maybe you have a corrupted cookie. Can you log into the front end? Is it just the ACP to which you cannot log in?

yup, the front end is ok, the problem I have is only on the ACP
