**(We're not saying it will block all proxies, just the ones we know about, which is a lot. To know about every proxy would be an impossible task.)

If the new registering member is determined to be a bot or spammer, they will receive a message telling them they are not allowed to register.

It will also scan posts and determine if the post is spam or not. You have 4 options if the post is determined to be spam.
**Note: Post scans will only work with English currently.

1. Nothing.
2. Moderate Post
3. Soft Delete
4. Physically Delete

To install: import product-fassim.xml into your vBulletin Products section. After its installed goto vBulletin Option -> Fassim Anti Spam Options, insert your API key that you will need to get from our website (www.fassim.com).

Is someone that has posted consistent spam on multiple forums.

In the Options Section for the product. Can you please explain the "User Post Threshold" more thoroughly.

User Post Threshold:
Fassim will scan all posts from a user until they have reached that number, then it will not scan them anymore. So if Fassim determines the post to be spam it will not increment their post count. This can be useful if you are using promotions, because some spammer will post a few posts to get their count up so they can get promoted to do more things..(e.g. signatures, private messaging...etc)

Hello, any chance this will be released for 4.0? It's the only one I have found where you can block by country.

I've tested it and have a lot of people that are using it with for 4.0 currently.

How many sites are signed up to Fassim? How does this differ from StopForumSpam?

We differ from StopForumSpam by having a few more controls over what can be blocked like :

* Block countries and regions from registering to your forum. (just enter a country code, you don't have to edit a .htaccess file like most people do.)

* Block anonymous proxies.
* Block Top Spamming Domains.
* Block Top Spamming ISP’s.
* Scan posts and allow you to moderate the posts

which hundreds have told us that it help with false positives that they were getting using other spam plugins.
