Help with invisible buttons
 

Im hoping for an easy fix to this, I uploaded my custom logo header into header-background and it showed up good, except that it hides the "user name, notifications, my profile, settings, and log off" buttons, however the text "welcome" (which is directly before these invisible buttons) is there, when you hover over the area where these buttons are, the hover highlight text shows them, but unless you hover over them, they are invisible. shouldnt the header background image load behind the buttons?
