VPS Server Load confusion

Hi all

I am on a VPS and was wondering about the server load, when I login through SSH and view top, the server load that I see, is that just for my site and database or is it for everybody that is on the server?

It should be for just your VPS. However, it would be worthwhile to check with your hosting provider and find out what they would consider an acceptable limit to be; not all technologies scale the same.
