Strange symbol
 

In my admincp on top i see *[]* what is this for??
Strange again after update 4.0.8 pl2.

Also Smileys,when we click on smiley, nothing happens, what could be wrong,when trying tio change style, also this don't work, some other small things are strange.

That is from missing phrases - I usually see it in relation to a modification where all the files haven't been uploaded or the mod isn't installed correctly.

For your smilies, try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php

Thanks, was true, when uploading fils in flasfxp, he did not over wright the old files, with what program are you realy shure to over wright the old files??

I would have thought an ftp client would be able to do that. I would think your settings were incorrect or you didn't see the prompt asking if you wanted to overwrite old files.
