Since I updated to 4 the number of users in brackets on my forum page is considerably small compared to what it was with version 3.8. The forums look slow now and I don't understand why. The number of users online is up.

When I look at Who's Online the majority of users are viewing the index. It looks strange for some reason.

Did 3.8 include guests in the brackets on a per forum basis?
Why are so many looking at the index and not a forum?

It just looks out of whack and members are complaining that they are leaving after the upgrade because nobody is using the forums. But they really are, posts counts are the same etc.
