Display search results on custom page?
 

I couldn't find this addressed anywhere, so I've decided to ask:

Scenario:
I have a database of products (seperate from vb but integrated) that has it's own functions and pages. When someone searches for a game, I'd like a vb search to appear after the search results from the game database. This would search all content types.

So, for example, if someone were to search for "warfare" then the current search would be displayed. After that, then there would be a list of all the relevant VB searches, as you would see on any search results page. Ideally, I'd like to eventually paginate this with Ajax, but first things first - trying to programatically setup a "criteria" just gives me no results no matter what.
