What's in your error_logs?

goshalim 11-06-2010 02:59 AM

I dont know Lynee, havent check.

But some users still cannot log in or work with IE. Myself now am working and havnt seen this message again.

Very strange the last few days.

What version of i.e. are they using? I find vbulletin 4.0 runs into viewing problems with version 6 or less.

What version of mysql are you using? Version 4x & 5x works great with vbulletin 4.0. older ones are not so great.

Did you do any mods to the header, includes etc? Try reverting back to default, to see if resolved (just make sure you save your original modification code so you dont have to redo everything afterwords).

Did you install any mods? If yes, disable them and see if problem resolves itself. Then add mods one-by-one until until you find the culprit.

Did you install any portal mods? I find these often cause problems.

Lots of other possibilities. but these are the most common that i have read about over the years.

If they have problems, have them do a trace to your site to see where the problem lays. It could be their ISP or it could be your host. Or, something else, but it would be good to get a trace when the problem is occuring.

And, of course, I would check the error_logs (as I already stated). They are normally a big help when troubleshooting site issues.
