config.php globally disabled

I went and checked the config.php and it has disable_hooks = false

which is suppose to fix it... went back into the plugin manager and it says its still globally disabled...

Anyone have any clue what is causing this ?

Comment out the line instead. Also, make sure you aren't disabling hooks from vboptions > Plugin Options

I made sure it wasnt disabled in the plugin options.

when you say comment it out, please help on that :) I am not a software guy (network guy)

Just put // in front of it:

Also, what sort of caching do you have selected in your config.php file - do you have a line like this?

i am going to comment it out

i can see it but i get a ton of errors on Vmoods 4007 line error

Why did you comment out $config['Database']['dbtype'] = 'mysql'; ? That needs to be in there.
