Quick reply on custom pages?

Hello,

I've got a modification here: http://www.rarewarecentral.com/forums/news.php?id=4853
It's based on fetching a thread post thorough a thread ID and it fetches all the replies to the thread and places them as comments.

Do any of you have any idea how I could throw in a quick reply box there? If the quick reply box could work on a thread ID then it would be simple because I could use "$thread[threadid]", but I have no idea how to do this.

So if any of you know how, let me know.
