Notification for Private Message

Hello,

In my forum I have set the Private Message as a paid feature wherein members have to pay and subscribe to access Private Message.

Right now a Private Message user is not able to send private message to a Non- Private Message user, but I want to do this setting:

When a non-PM user is sent a private message, they should get a notification saying, "You have received a private message from X. However, you need to sign-up for private message access to read this message. Please sign-up here".

This notification could be in the User's Profile page.

Let me know how to do this.

Thanks in advance.

i'm guessing that you have a Private Message usergroup and a Non-Private Message usergroup, each with their own set of abilities.

why not just use Abe1's Forced Thread and send it solely to the Non-Private Message usergroup explaining they need to have a paid subscription or whatever in order to receive Private Message access?

also, a member of the Private Message usergroup will quickly know if a person is a member or not by you setting a different User Title for each usergroup, a different color font will aid also.

Hello,
Thanks for your response.

Yes I do have different user groups for Private Message Users and Non-Private Message Users, with Private Message Users having user title and their user name displayed in a different font color so that it is easier to identify.

Btu my question here is Private Message User, say X should be able to send messages to a Non- Private Message user, say Y too. X should be able to sends a message to Y, when Y logs in he should get the notification, say in his user profile page that "You have received a Private Message from X. However you need to sign up to read the Message".

Let me know how to go ahead and set this in my forum.
Thanks in advance.
