Set log locally instead of email

I recently got a new dedicated server from Godaddy and we've been having issues since day 1. From what they are telling me there are too many emails being sent from the vbulletin log or whatever as you can see this below.

A part of an email Godaddy sent me:

It is also recommended that you set logging with vbulletin to log locally instead of generating a email as this is also creating a large amount of messages on the server. Along with modifying the logging feature in vbulliten it is also recommended that you optimize vbulliten so that it does not generate multiple connections for each visitor as we have monitored your connections and determined that several connections are generated for each user.

How can I set the log to locally?

What are you logging? If you are unsure what emails are you receiving?
