No avatars imported after impex

Hello all
i am quite new to the forum and have ust been registred with you all
i have converte my forum from phpbb to vbulletin the latest release and i have a problem with the avatars taht are not showing up
i have contacted the support at vbulletin and they dtold me that avatars are not imported from the impex system
is there any plugin or mod outthere?
would be much appreciated
