Admin Control Panel Menu Important Links
 

I used a similar mod which added a link to some things in the Admin Cp and thought it would be Helpful to some who didnt know how it was done to post this one!

Download and Edit the Xml file with Notepad++ or similar and add the links you would like to have in the menu.
You can add more links or delete some if not there not needed.
By Adding or Removing this text from the Xml file with Notepad++ or other software.

<navoption displayorder="1">
<text>MY LINK 2</text>
<link>ADD HERE</link>

Once you have added your links open your Ftp,then upload it to your forum/includes/xml/

Login to your Admin cp and the new links will be showing under Important Links


Works Fine on 4.2 As of May 2012:up:

Tested and Working fine on 4.0.6 but should be A1 on all 4....Forums!

Confirmed to work fine with 4.1.3

Not working on 4.2..... But I think it else was a good Idea, I will see if I can get a fix for this, and I let you know if I did! Else I might wait untill its updated.. Thanks

Working fine on 4.2 here mate,Have you changed the links to your own?
Its only a very basic xml file so really should work on any versions too.

Edit just Removed and Reinstalled to make Sure and yes all working well on 4.2 patch level 2
