Sub forum posts on main index page
 

Hi,

What I'm looking for is a mod that will allow posts from sub forums. When I say sub forums
I mean the ones that display under the title of Subforum and do not normally report any posts made within them to the LAST POST area of the MAIN INDEX page of the forum.

So for example. (will try to explain this the best I can)

Forum1 (no posting allowed)--->Forum2 (no posting allowed)--->Forum3

Forum 3 is two forums deep so would be displayed smaller as a Subforum. But none of the posts made in Forum3 would report to LAST POST column on the main forum index. And by this I mean not going into any of the forums at all.
Well, this is what I want to change. I want any posts in subforums to report to the LAST POST area of the main index page... can this be done?

FYI- on my board this is how it works- the last post in a subforum does show up as the last post in the main forum- I think the issue you have that needs to be overcome is that your main forum is closed for posting and therefore doesn't look for a "last post" at all.
