1 Attachment(s)
Hello
i decided to share this mod with everybody else , this is a paid hack , i received several PMs asking to share it with everybody else , so i did :D all credits goes to original author SecondV :) VBulletin 4.x users click here
1
What does this hack do ?? This mod simply lets you put your desired ads or any other codes just in the middle of first post , in each page of a thread . you can see a live demo here https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...0&d=1286464741 https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...1&d=1288041638
1
Known Issues :
if you think it's against google TOS then don't install it ;) but keep in mind you can also use it with other network ads , and keep in mind at no point google directly mentioned it's against their TOS to put adsense in between content , so do not insist :D
1
Installation : Just Import the Prodcut and configure settings in admincp ( no template edits needed ) DONE :)
1
Updates version 1.1 : first post editing bug FIXED version 1.2 : option ADDED to hide copyright AND adsense input field integrated into mod's settings page version 1.3 : option ADDED to limit ads to be visible to guests only as requested by jrwap version 1.4 : The ads get applied to article comments as well on the CMS articles bug FIXED version 1.5 : option ADDED to disable ads in certain forums ( as requested by wastemytime ) version 1.6 : unicode characters bug FIXED version 1.7 : option for enabling ads in extra post ADDED ( as requested by barcena ) version 1.8 : PHP5 issue version 1.9 : first post image only (no text) bug FIXED
1
Enjoy and please please try not to forget to click as Installed if you liked it you can also Nominate it for MOTM , that's optional but clicking as installed is a must :) |
This doesn't seem to be setup in the live demo?
|
it's being setup on live demo as u see it inserts ads in between contents of first post
|
The way you blend it, it's against the TOS. If you get banned, don't be suprise people. The above example is too blended with the text, and doesn't differentiate between the ad and the content.
You can simply adjust this, but Floating the ad in a div tag. Obviously 728x90 won't look good, but 300x250 should. |

google didn't say it's not against TOS or it's against TOS
it's your responsibility to obey their TOS otherwise you lose your account google advises to blend ads to match content to increase revenue but if you make ads recognizable from other contents of page then you won't need to worry , you can achieve this by adding a border to the ads or by any other ways |
Isn't this already available?
EDIT: I have just realised this is for the older version. |
tottal confused  some said against google TOS some said not against google TOS
|
I think that is pretty cool. I'd love to see how much of an increase this brings...
