New Posts excluding a forum
 

My new posts link works fine, but I'd like to set up a second New Posts link that excludes a few forums. Should I just clone parts of search.php file and rename the request, then modify the results that way?

If you just ad &exclude=x,y,z to the end of the search url it will exclude forum id's x, y, and z from the search- so just make a new New Posts link the same as existing with &exclude=5,6,7 or whatever on the end.
