Feed Summary of Thread Comments to Web Page?
 

On a site I'm developing there's a blog that's built not with WordPress or other blog software but just with HTML pages. If visitors want to comment on a blog post, a link takes them to a thread in a vB forum where the first message is the blog, reproduced in full. Below it would be comments on the blog.

What I would like to be able to do is have, say, a half dozen of these comments to the blog appear, in a summary form, back below the original blog post on the website. That way, people can see what others are saying about the blog. If they want to add their own comment, they just need to click the link to go to the vB forum.

I would like this arrangement to exist for each blog entry.

Is it possible?
