Announcing the vB Custom Profile Contest
 

In honor of Halloween and at the request of customers in this thread, we are pleased to announce a contest for licensed customers. The contest will be for the best custom profile design (a feature that was reintroduced in 4.0.8.)

If you wish to participate, you can design your own custom profile by going into your profile and clicking on the 'Customize My Profile' button on the right.

The contest will be in three stages. The first stage will consist of people nominating the custom profiles of other users in a thread created for this contest. There will be one week to design your profiles and nominate users. To make it to the next step, each nominee must also be seconded by another customer.

After one week, we will start a multiple choice poll in which people can choose the top three profiles as their choice for finalists. Then one week later we will tabulate the results and put the top five vote-getters into a new poll where license customers can choose the winner.

The winner will receive a vB4 Suite license, while the runner-up will receive a vB4 Forums license.

Of course, vB and IB staff are exempt from this contest, which is only fair since Colin would surely run away with the prize if he were allowed to participate.

The contest starts today, Monday, Oct. 11th. Here is the thread for nominations.
