? on why i cant code my links
 

For some reason i cant [code] links [/link]
i have ame for using ytube and that what i want .. live yyube links so you can see..
but my real problem is on all other links i cant code them.. could someone lead me i right direction on how i could fix this problem.. i tried change the php code and it just made ytube live link no picture and did not kill other links.. i even made new post after i did this and same thing live links.. Please can someone help me..

Shouldn't you be using just BBcodes not hardcoding into the php files?

I've seen a few people asking about similar things lately, and sorry for the thread-jack but I'm curious: I guess some forums use [code] to indicate a url so it will be a live link? So I guess people are unhappy about vBulletin not working the same way?

I've seen lots of warez type sites where they want links put in tags specifically because they don't want live links where admins from sites they link to can find out their site URL from the referrer information.
