SQL DB is too big

hi

my furom has 56,000 posts, and that size is over 300MB
why ?

my attachments + Avatrs saved into my host, but why sql size is too big ?

I tried to clear the search indexes bcoz it take around 100 MB

After i cleared search indexes from the VB Cpanel, and i check the phpMyadmin Table of search indexes @ Sql the size 100 MB which is the same ..

how to clear search indexes from phpMyadmin?

Any Idea ..
