using post "reporting" to nominate posts for awards?

I run a photography forum: http://newschoolofphotography.com/forum.php
we do a "shot of the month" contest each month: http://newschoolofphotography.com/ge...er-2010-a.html

are there any mods available that would allow me to create a secondary "report" icon in each post, or a "nominate" icon that lets you use the same functionality but puts the "nominated" post into a specified thread (I'd change that each month)?

That would be very useful to use to, any luck?

I believe DBTech will release something along this nature later in the year.

Besides the one that is used on this site the only ever other mod was for vb3.

A vb4 version has yet to be written/released!

Just rolling in to say we have 2 mods in the production queue that could be used for something like this: an X of the month mod where people can vote for posts, threads, whatever you can think of "of the month", and a more in depth "contests" mod designed around things like avatar of the week and signature of the week, as well as stuff like role playing forums etc that would function outwith the standard post/thread system.

I have to say though that as there are several mods ahead of it in the queue this is unlikely to be made/released until late summer at the earliest.

I have seen one one forum, they have a monthly competition, a "review of the month" .. where people can vote on an opening post of a thread... its an automated system where all votes go to its own thread and at the end of the month, it resets itself ( this can be found on www.sensualdownunder.com ) where would i find something like that? they are running vbulletin 3.7.5

Help!

Or what is it called so i can google it?
