I have a message baord where we buy/sell/trade sports cards and memoribilia (http://cgi-bin.spaceports.com/~cardsdb/vB)
I want to make a feedback system, where we can leave feedback (positive/negative/neutral or point system) and comments about a user after completing a trade/sale Is there a script or hack out there that allows that? Please let me know! Thanks! |
No.. but I am going to eventually have something like this.. :)
but it will be awhile, hopefully someone else can fill this for ya hehe.. and the chicken had to cross the road.. there was a wolf chasing him. |
I am in need of this as well...
|
Well, I could imagine it this way:
An user offers something in the "I got something to sell" forum and anther member becomes the highest bidder. A random key is generated and sent out to the bidder after the transaction is completed. (The one offering has to click on "Item sold" or something like that) The ransom key is part of a "Rate this user" link that gets sent out to the bidder as soon as he confirms the transaction on the board. Is that what you need? |
I am looking at it in a trading sense because an auction system is an entirely another project (that I would LOVE to have!). As in the trading sense, I believe what you said is correct. All it has to do is let 2 users rate each other and link to the thread that was initially started.
ie. me) I have a Star Wars Darth Vader figure for trade. Bob) I will trade my Luke figure for it! me) Deal! Bob) sounds good! I'll e-mail you to finalize the deal! me) I just got my Luke I traded with Bob and it is great! I then could trade rating feedback with Bob. Now, it could be like ebay: SirSteve (124) the 124 would be the feedback count that links to all the feedback you have recieved. I dunno... just thoughts... :) |
Understood... Hmmm, this might be a bit complicated to create, but I'll try anyway. :)

I'm currently working on one for my site. It doesn't actually use the vbulletin database. It's a simple php4 script that merely uses the user registration table to verify that they can post a reply. If you're interested, get ahold of me @ jon@ironfist.net. Thanks. :D
|
I have just finished my PHP 4/ MySQL comment system. Users of my site's forum can leave comments on any articles on the site. It makes use of the vBulletin user database to allow only registered individuals to leave comments. If you're interested in seeing it, drop me an e-mail.. jon@ironfist.net

I suggest to try out IcyDeath00's version as I've got many things to take care of at the moment. :)
|
IcyDeath00, please post what you have and where we can see a working demo.
