Subscribe to Calendars

Hi there - I want to be able to either have:

A. users subscribe to calendars (the one for their region say)
OR
B. relate calendars to forums such that if a member has subscribed to a forum, they also see the related calendars that have been related to that forum.

Otherwise people need to always use the calendar picker which is frustrating.

Thoughts please?
