Cannot find clean, professional, modern vB themes for sale
 

Hi,

I recently purchased vB 4.0 and I'm rather disappointed in that I haven't been able to find premium vB themes that don't like they come from the 90s and are made with teenagers in mind.

I'm astonished at how many Web 2.0 styled premium themes I can find for WordPress and IPB, but I cannot locate any makers of such themes for vB 4?

If anyone knows companies that make premium vB themes that are
* Modern/fresh with straight lines
* Good usage of whitespace
* Clean, refreshing colors
* MINIMILASTIC PLEASE!
* Very professional looking, no wild colors and images
* etc.

Basically, I'm looking for designs along the likes of the bbPress styles here: http://www.pagelines.com/themes/ and other clean themes elsewhere, it'd be much appreciated.

Yeah, I agree... I see a lot of changing the colours but not a great deal of absolutely great web 2.0 designs for vb CMS.

You will have to wait a few months for such kind of premade styles to be available. Most of the vB Style designers have either closed down or are waiting for the stylevars issue to be resolved in vB4.1.

vBulletin 4 is still at its early stages and with 100-200 Bugs fixes every maintainence release, most designers are just waiting for one really stable version to start developing, like Vijay said you would probably have to wait for a while before you see some quality styles.

Also dont compare Wordpress styles to vBulletin. Wordpress styles can be coded barely within 4-8 templates for a minimal or web 2.0 look. vBulletin is a very complex structure it not a full out Blog or CMS. So you wont find Wordpress sort of styles in vBulletin that easy.. Similar themes can be found but layout and structure of Wordpress with vB is a whole diff ball game. I have restructured such projects but only for Custom projects..

There are news about professional and modern styles for VB4?
I'm searching too a new style for my forum.

My honest advice is to try playing Lotto. You've more chances to win the first prize, than to find a template like the ones that you point above (which are great!!). Till now I've bought 3 commercial tempates. Good but.......
