I hope I am in the right section... Sorry if I am not

I have my forum set when clicking links in thread would open in a new page, the way I like it

But I have 1 thread that will be like an index to many topics which are listed in posts in the same long thread..

What I want is when a user clicks on one of the links in the first post (the index) it will take him/her to that post number (in the same thread) but open in the same page (like target=_self>

I did it fine with normal links, but it won't work for posts

Anyone got an idea?
