vb.org Archive - automatic [img] tags?

is there any way to automate the BB code for images in VB4? I run a photography forum where people post 10~20 images in a thread and it gets old clicking the https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/07/5.gif for each image. Right now the easiest way around it is for a user to use their flickr stream and one of the scripts for that that gives them the tagged code including the URL... I'm looking to allow people to paste in JUST the image location (a URL) and have a BB code shortcut that wraps it with the [img] tags. I'd also love it if it was "smart" and checked for preexisting [img] tags so it doesn't end up adding the to posts where people continue to use the old/editor method?

Does anything like this exist? Google and the search here and on vb.com are failing me...
