Template questions.

I attached a file as it is quicker to see than explain.

However, I am upgrading from 4.0.1 tonight to the latest version. I know some of my custom mods will be broken by this so am looking for any advice on moving them back.

1. Login box move. I hear people having problems putting this back after the upgrade. Something about adding a conditional or something. But the long story short, how can I move the login box back to here with it still working.

2. The text in the threads and post columns, which stylevar or other option do I have to change to shrink this down.

3. The post and thread column, how can I change the background color of this one column?

I would just figure out where the custom mods are and move them back. I do upgrades like that all the time and just save the theme and move them over. It is not that hard at all. I use araxis merge to compare and then just click and done. Do you have the skin now on 4.0 ?

if you edit your template or CSS before in a skin. When you update that skin you can move those changes over ? are you talking you have the changes already or you wanting to make them ?

you will have some trouble going to 4.0.6 with templates, you should try it all on a test forum. and see whats going to happen first. just good advise on moveing thru 5 versions.
