Hiring someone to work on vb

Wayne Luke from vbulletin.com mentioned that vbulletin.org was the place to hire people to work on vbulletin.

I looked at the Paid Services section and it seems that most folks have to keep bumping their thread to find someone.

Are there any other sites that vbulletin owners can hire experienced vbulletiners?

Thanks.

I don't believe discussing those sites in a post is allowed i.e. Commercial sites discussion. You can Google or use a search engine to find tons of them just be careful as with anything in life.

Paid Request area here: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=30
(Please read the stickied threads at the top before posting!)

Unpaid Request area here: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=112

Alternatively it really depends on what you want/need. Sometimes I see others finding the right area on vb.com or .org to ask questions in where other members point them in the right direction in regards to site related functions, mods that might already be out on vbulletin.org etc.

In my opinion the best place to find coders/designers to work on your forum would be to post at the paid section here as mentioned above. Only make sure to read the stickie threads there first.

Just post it in the Paid Requests section and you will get replies, or just use Google to find people who offer Custom vBulletin stuff.

But remember that replies will only come in PM as others can not reply to a thread in that forum.

For the most part people who get no takers on projects either want the absolute impossible or so poorly word what they want that any experienced coder knows already they will be a pain to work with and it's not worth their time- you can't please someone who doesn't know what they want.

When I had a custom mod need I posted a detailed description of my expectations and got multiple offers over several days... I picked who I thought was the best value for the money and was very happy with the results.
