VBulletin 4.0.x has built in support for Vimeo in their standard VIDEO BB Code- so why do you want this one? Recently Vimeo updated their player so it can work on iPads and other mobile devices, the built in code does not work on some of these devices where as this one does.

This has been confirmed working in the latest releases of IE, FF, Chrome, Safari, and Opera.

Add a new BBCode

Title: Vimeo Video
BB Code Tag Name: vimeo
Replacement:
Example: [vimeo]14240735[/vimeo]
Use Option: No
Button Image: (optional) https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2010/08/28.jpg
Remove Tag If Empty: Yes
All Disable Options: Yes

Just curious - what's wrong with the vb406 vimeo embed? I don't think anyone has ever used it on my forum, I know I haven't, so I was unaware it didn't work.?

Which one are you talking about, do you have a link?
I searched all mods for "Vimeo" before posting and saw they were all out dated. Vimeo changed their format a couple days ago... The other mods all had old code... The replacment code needs to look like mine to work- there could be minor differences, like the sizes in pixels, but it would have to look very similar to be working.

I meant the default vb406 includes Vimeo, not a mod. It's in the bbcode_video template.

So it does...

I made this as a request for someone in the Requests forum... I think the issue is the built-in video code doesn't work on iPads and maybe other mobile devices- this one does.

I will update the description to reflect this, thanks.

Only one issue I get is the player window needs to be clicked on once before the player controls are click-able.
