How Do I Set A "Stand-Alone" Forum?....
 

I never realized this could be done.. I saw this on a site, illustration is provided below..

I like it.. how do I set my own stand-alone section?

First you would need to have all your Categories separated (look for articles or mods). Then you would create a forum with no parent that isn't a Category. And then you'll have to also make sure that template, forumhome_forumbit_level1_post, is modified the same way the sister template, forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost, is modified so you have a stand alone table.
