Ok all, I need assistance to complete this hack. What I need is someone fluent in eggdrop bot scripts who can transform it over to a standard IRC script to be used on a regular trivia bot.

For those who assist, we will work together and release a fully functional chat hack.

I have everything working but that small piece. Please let me know for I want to get this completed quickly.

There has to be someone interested. All it would involve is some conversion.

I think there is now an option for your hack. The fact is simply that nobody wants to get involved in the complexity of creating a hack to use IRC bots to forward the member in chat stats. I think there is another way to do this.

Here we go:

Use the JIRC chat hack documented here in the forums. You then will basiclaly use templates to create your chatroom section. The chat room is then accessed via a forum that is created for it. VB 2.03 can now show online user statistics as well as their locations in your forums. This in essence would allow a fairly easy hack to show chat users. I am now researching how to impliment this. I believe it would be easier than dealing with IRC bots and would permit more people to have such a hack.
