How do I use embed links?

I have 4.0.5 and if I copy an embed link it just displays the html code. How do I make it show the video?

Currently you must manually add the [video] tags. Use the icon in the editor if it makes it easier. Hopefully this will become an automated process soon as it makes little sense to show a link and not a video.
