Slow loading site after server move help needed
 
Hi, I have moved servers and got a new domain.

The problem I am having is that I have copied over all the files from my old host and backed up the DB, then FTP'd over the files to my new host and restored the DB.

Now my site is taking forever to load and in some cases giving me a 500 internal server error.

Is this something wrong that I am doing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are your DNS and Nameservers correct?

I take it you modified the config.php correctly as well as the DB permissions?

So, you just copied everything over, no fresh install with imported database? What version of VBB are you running? Did the apache, php,mysql change at all?

Stats on old server vs new server?

Fixed the problem, it was a mod that causing the problem. Uninstalled and voila it now works.

The other problem I am now having is that some user cannot login. They are getting the error below, and they have cleared out there cookies and cache.

I am on vB 4.04 PL1
