Long posts getting cut off
 

I'm having an issue with long posts getting cut off. It happens in the new thread editor and when you go advanced when editing or replying. However, the quick reply and edit do not cut off long posts. When I preview the post, it shows normally, but when I submit it is when it is cut off.

To walk you through it. I click new thread and write a long post, but under my character count. I click preview post, it shows up fine (and is still in editor as whole). I click submit new thread, and it cuts off a whole bunch of the post. If I were then click edit and rewrite the rest of the post in the quick edit box and click save, it saves the whole text correctly. However, when I'm editing if I click go advanced and rewrite the rest of the post and click save, it cuts it off again.

Ok, I found the issue - the text contains the character

?


which is causing the one editor to cut off everything from that character on, but for some reason the quick editor does not have this issue.


Any clue as to why one editor doesn't like it while another does? Also, I'd like them both to accept it successfully.... any thoughts?
