Auto close thread and leave message (after a pre defined time period, like one year)

How can I "auto lock" threads after say, one year and leave a polite message like this - This thread is more than one years old so the thread has been locked, Before posting a new thread, please look below at the 'similar threads list' or if there isn't one, please use the search function to locate an active thread to join. Thank you
